Forecast Round 7 New World and LM Money Hunt for Crucial Wins

The whole country is getting ready for the biggest sports event NZ is hosting. With only a week to go the rugby fever will just get higher and higher. Sana manalo ang ABs at kundi, naku po, tiyak ang lungkot natin (Hopefully the ABs win, otherwise for sure we will all be sad). NZ is truly a sports nation, or should we say rugby nation.

Sa Pinas naman excited na ang ating mga kababayan sa darating na laban ni (our country mates are excited with the upcoming fight of)  Congressman Pacquiao. The fight is still several weeks away but the press coverage is crazy. For sure these 2 main sports events will be followed closely by Pinoys.

NBA lockout continues, with the opening a few months away the word is both sides have now agreed to go back to the negotiating table. They have also agreed to stop talking negatively against each other in the media. Surely this is a positive step. 

LS Banal Cup games this weekend matches the top 2 teams against the bottom 2. Mathematically speaking the bottom 2 can still make it with another round and the carry over system being applied. But that would mean that the top teams would have to lose the bulk of their games. Manila Motors/CMR is going all guns blazing while defending champs Dimond is determined to keep their title so New World and LM will really need to play a lot harder to catch up.

Manila Motors/CMR (5-0) vs New World  (0-5)
First time these two teams faced New World almost scored the upset of the tournament. The Supermarketeers young guns matched CMR's speed and athleticism. In fact going into the last 2 minutes the game the point differential was only a few points. But as per usual top seeded Manila Motors' composure brought them home.  

New World needs to wake up. They can certainly match up with any team in this league but the problem is their confidence and lack of leadership on the floor. Manila Motors again may prove to be too strong, with everything going for them expect this team to dominate. Fearless Forecast: Manila Motors/CMR  by 12 points.

Dimond/Ampelite (3-1) vs LM Money Transfers (1-4)
This was our tournament's opening game and it was a close game. What would be typical of the Money Transferer's game, they would fall behind and then catch up and then fall behind again and then catch up again. Most of LM's game were only decided in the final minutes as they never give up. This team composed of veterans takes awhile to heat up, parang diesel, habang umiinit lalong gumaganda takbo (like a diesel engine, the warmer it gets the more efficient it runs).

Dimond has the advantage with their offensive options but you never know. We all expected New World to win over LM but the veterans prevailed. If Ampelite takes it easy then we may have another upset. Otherwise expect the Roofmakers to win again. Fearless Forecast: Dimond by 8 points.
